Welcome to the United States – now cool your heels for a couple of hours.
An organization that tries to improve airport entry to the New York City metropolitan region reports that John F. Kennedy International Airport has the longest wait times among the five busiest airports that serve as entry points to the country.
The Global Gateway Alliance says the wait times over summer averaged 23 minutes, but in August, maximum delays averaged two hours.
