New timetables for the Pascack Valley and Port Jervis lines take effect this Sunday.
Here are the highlights from Metro-North Railroad:
- Minor changes to a small number of weekday connections between Secaucus Junction and New York-Penn Station.
- A platform construction project at Secaucus Junction station will require the use of one platform for all weekend trains in both directions (there are normally two platforms). As a result, most weekend Port Jervis and Pascack Valley Line trains will be adjusted between 12 minutes earlier and 15 minutes later; of the trains being adjusted, most will run between 1 and 3 minutes earlier than they currently do.
- A number of weekend Port Jervis trains will have their travel time lengthened between 2 and 5 minutes, with an average of 3 minute
