Starting Tuesday, crews are set to begin repairing potholes between Exit 7 to Exit 10.
Motorists should expect delays in both directions from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Crews will work Tuesday through Thursday for the next eight weeks, according to the Thruway Authority.
The pavement improvements are not related to the I-287 reconstruction project and do not include the area that was overhauled, a Thruway spokesman said.
That project was officially completed in December.
