The Thruway board on Monday unanimously approved the $3.9 billion proposal from Tappan Zee Constructors, allowing Thruway chief Thomas Madison to sign an already-negotiated contract with the team. Though the deal still has to pass reviews from the state comptroller and attorney general,  it seems clear the project will get underway next year.  Weigh in on what you think the board’s final decision.
