The next stop on Metro-North’s mission to spruce up train stations is Bedford Hills.
Railroad and business leaders are set to gather Friday morning at the Bedford Hills station, which just received a makeover that includes a fresh coat of paint, improved shelter heaters and lights, and new wire benches.
The station in Tarrytown recently got $40 million in upgrades, and overhauls began this month at the Mount Vernon East, Pelham, and New Rochelle train stations, which are part of $36.7 million in planned renovations along the New Haven line. The railroad expects to start refurbishments at Larchmont, Harrison and Mamaroneck next summer.
How would you describe your Metro-North train station? Is it in good or bad condition?
